How Do I Change the Email on My Account?

Overview

There are four different types of login: Work Email, Google, Facebook, and Single Sign-on(SSO). You can see which your account uses on My Profile, under your email address. You can use one or more types of login.

•  Work Email - email and password login
•  Google - log in with authentication from your Google account
•  Facebook - log in with authentication from your Facebook account
•  Single Sign-on (SSO) - log in with your company credentials

If your account uses work email, Google, or Facebook, you can change your email address in Kixo.

If your account uses Single Sign-On only, your email address will need to be changed in your Identity Provider and you can contact Kixo Support for assistance updating your Kixo account to the new email address.

Prerequisites

• Free with Credit Card, Pro, API plan, Business or Education Kixo account
• An email address that does not already exist in Kixo

Changing a Login that uses Work Email or Work Email and Another Type of Login

1. Sign in to the Kixo web portal.
2. Click Profile.
3. Click Edit next to Sign-In Email.
4. Enter the new email address.
5. Click Save Changes.
6. A confirmation email will be sent to the new email address. You can resend the request or cancel the email update.
   You will need to click the confirmation prompt in that email before the email address is changed.
7. Click Confirm Change to finish the email change process.

Changing Google and/or Facebook Login

1. Sign in to the Kixo web portal.
2. Click Profile.
3. Click Edit next to Sign-In Email.
4. Enter a valid Google or Facebook email address in the box. 
5. Click Save Changes.
6. A confirmation email will be sent to the new email address. You can resend the request or cancel the email update.
   You will need to click the confirmation prompt in that email before the email address is changed.
7. Click Confirm and Continue in this email to change the email address.
