Remove the printer from the user's system and attempt to add the printer using the following instructions
If the user still cannot print, try removing the drivers for the printer from the user's system by going to the Printers and Faxes folder in the Control Panel. Remove any printers that are not working and go to File | Server Properties.
- Reinstall Driver
- Add Driver
- Verify Drivers
- Order New Printer
Reinstall Driver
Select the driver that is related to the printer or printers that you have removed and click "Remove." If you receive an error message, you may need to restart the print spooler on the user's machine. To do so, go to the Control Panel and open Administrative Tools. Open Services and find the print spooler service. Click Stop, then click start, then go back to the Print Server Properties window and remove the drivers for the required printer.
Add Driver
Add the printer back. This will automatically install drivers from the server onto the printer. If you are still unable to print, go to the printer manufacture's web page, such as www.hp.com and download the version of the driver you need. Save it to the user's system and install the driver.
Verify Drivers
If the user is unable to add the printer to his networked printers, attempt to add it to your own system. If you are unable to add the printer to your system, verify that the print drivers are available on the print server.
Order New Printer
Type "Order the printer" thru service catalog
